Adrian’s career as a manager began as early as June 1990 when he co-founded AREXIM, a Romanian IT reseller and systems integrator company, which he successfully developed and subsequently sold to Xerox Corporation in 1997.
In 1998 Adrian become Business Unit Director for XEROX CEE and one year later he was appointed CEO for XEROX Romania. In these two management positions, his contribution included the following: creating and implementing the transition from analogical to digital technology, launching and developing new sales channels, adapted to the new competitive landscape and completely re-structuring of existing ones.
His efforts paid off and consequently, in 2001, when he decided to leave XEROX, sales volume in XEROX Romania had already increased two-fold compared to 1998.
Having decided to move on to a different sort of challenge, in 2001 Adrian co-founded Ascendis Consulting, a training and consulting company, and further developed his career as a management consultant. His expertise in real-life management helped Adrian develop and deliver numerous Executive Training programs to customers of various sizes and from various industries, such as IBM, Xerox, Orange, Raiffeisen Bank, Citibank, Allianz, and many local entrepreneurial companies, as well as coach top executives from various industries.
In 2005 Adrian also became a partner in the affiliate offices of Human Synergistics in Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary and Serbia. Human Synergistics International is the worldwide leading research organization in the field of organizational culture. Therefore he was able to enrich his expertise in management and consulting by adding a third dimension, i.e. organizational change.
In 2007, Adrian exited Ascendis Consulting in order to focus on his lifetime passion, building and developing organizations. When he left, the company was already the number one training company in Romania, a position it currently holds.
During his years as a consultant, Adrian’s work touched more than 50 organizations, large or small, in Romania and other countries, and many hundreds of managers and leaders.
In those same years Adrian together with different partners also started other businesses, like Kiwi Finance – a financial services brokerage – and Arexim Line – a TV distribution network – which he also helped grow and then sold later on.
Adrian is also a founding member of the ERUDIO Foundation, an organization founded in 2005 and dedicated to bringing creativity and expressivity in Romanian leaders. He helped organize the Erisma Executive Development Program in Creative Leadership, which has enriched the lives of more than 250 Romanian business leaders over its six years of uninterrupted existence and development.
Having teaching as a lifetime passion, Adrian has taught various subjects in graduate business programs in the Bucharest Technical University, the National School of Political Studies, the Academy of Economic Studies as well as the Change Management course in the Canadian-Romanian MBA. More recently, Adrian taught Organizational Development, Leadership and Change Management for Central-European University Business School in Bucharest.
Since 2010, Adrian is a founding partner of the Maastricht School of Management Romania, where he also teaches Managing Cultural Diversity and Leadership and Change.

Adrian lives in France together with his wife Roxana and their daughter Sonia, but continues to work in Romania and other Central-European countries. He loves the sea, where he likes to go sailing for several weeks every year, he enjoys music and literature. He likes to meet genuine people and to travel to meaningful places.
